One of the most popular vacation spots in the U.S., the Grand Strand is a section of coastline known for its numerous golf courses, entertainment, amusement parks and resorts. The climate is ideal for sunning, swimming, water sports and any number of daytime activities, while world-famous stars draw nighttime crowds to clubs and theaters.

Fun beach town. Many options on things to do, see and eat, and even shop on this grande strand. Hotels are more expensive but parking is pretty reasonable.

The Grand Strand area is too close to the boardwalk area (really the same area) which is VERY SKETCHY,especially at night.

The grand strand streches from North Mrytle all the way down to Georgetown and some even say up to Calabash.. Has grown over the years Lots to do and each little town offers the beach in a different way..

Lots of touristy shops, arcade, grab some souvenirs and then walk over to the beach. Everything you need is here.

Spent the week on the Grand Strand. It's a typical Atlantic Ocean "dirty sand" beach with lots of shells. We are somewhat spoiled from FL gulf coast beaches, Aruba, and Hawaii. However we could drive to Myrtle Beach in a reasonable amount of time. In...More

Still safe and clean and only getting better. The Sky Wheel offers great photo ops and is fun to both ride and watch. Shops are open into the evening with lots of tourist items. Plenty of restaurants and food kiosks.

Most miniature golf courses are still open in November. The amusement parks might only be open on weekends. Just as well as the areas for the go carts
