I just moved here in August and have visited about 6 times trying out the restaurants and bars. A lot of free entertainment at most places along the walk. Food has been good at most places . Drinks good everywhere.

Loved the Marshwalk. Seeing the boats on the water up close. Choosing a restaurant from many up and down the boardwalk. The people you meet are nice. Relaxing.

We're local. We walk the Marshwalk often. You hear live music and can purchase drinks. We buy ice cream at Twisters and take a very relaxing walk.

Great way to spend an evening-fun outdoor shopping area where you can watch artists at work, stop into anyone of the restaurants or adult beverage spots. Beer garden had a great selection of ciders as well as micro-brews. The natural beauty of the sunset and...More

Shorter then most people would expect, only 1-1 1/2 miles, where most can be up to 5 miles, but if you take an hour kayak (in the salt marshes) it is definitely worth the time and minor expense ($20), restaurants are great, at night it...More

The Marsh Walk is the best place to eat on the grand strand for starters! The nightlife is great, it's truly where the locals go. Plenty of live music and drinks and you can walk the entire strip with a drink in hand as long...More

Open containers no problem, sidewalk vendors selling anything from hand made jewelry and pottery to hand-rolled cigars. Some excellent seafood may be found here, great view of the marsh and Goat Island (where they bring goats to pasture every spring), Marshwalk is well recommended.
