The North Beach Boardwalk has been replaced with a concrete walkway from the parking lot to the beach. The rinsing station has been completely replaced with a multi-person shower station like the one at the South Beach access. Since the hurricane washed away much of the dunes along the north end of the beach towards the jetty, the views of... More

What a great place to visit. It is much more that just a beach. The wildlife viewing opportunities are excellent. There are plenty of hiking trails and boardwalks to view everything form Anhingas, Cormorants, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons and even large alligators. You even have the opportunity to tour Atalaya.

Interesting marshes and hiking through the coastal forest by a pond to the coast. Boardwalk out on to the marsh is fun. Probably will see alligators basking in the sun.

Went to this state park and loved it!! We did have to pay a fee to get in but well worth it. When we got to the beach it was a very big beach with very few people on it. Very relaxing and beautiful. We also drove around the park and did some sight seeing. There is lots of wildlife... More

Great location to spend a few hours or a day. Walk along the gorgeous beach stretching out for miles, explore the boardwalks over the marshes or one of several trails. It's an interesting combination with the ocean on one side extending into tidal marshes, as well as freshwater ponds. It's great place for birdwatching, whether along the trails, beach or... More

Went looking for alligators and weren't disappointed got to see 8 in the wild sunning themselves. Were able to see some other wildlife, birds and small fish. Would like to see when the tide is in. Kids enjoyed seeing the gators

We also bring guests to Huntington Beach State Park to catch a glimpse of the gators in the marsh, enjoy Atalaya, and spend time on the beach. This is a great place to picnic, swim, and explore for all ages.

We absolutely love this Huntington State Park beach. Most of it is has been kept to its original natural state and it is breathtaking ! Warm or cool, we walk the beach everyday for an hour. We are fortunate that our resort provides us with a complimentary pass to the park and we certainly put it to good use! We... More

We enjoyed walking around the park, up to the beach, and along the straight path between the two bodies of water, but be careful of the alligators. We took lots of nature pictures. The castle was disappointing as we paid to get into the park and were then asked for more money for the castle. Didn't go in. There was... More

We spent many hours on several days enjoying this lovely State Park, watching birds, seeking wildlife from the boardwalks, beachcombing and strolling the nature paths and beaches. A place of calm and peace. If in the area for several weeks, it's worth the price of a season pass.
