Captains Michele and Mike Spanos are the key to this wonderful adventure. Both are from Charleston and bring a lifetime of experience on the harbor. Charleston harbor sailing is an amazing adventure. Add a fine Beneteau luxury 43' ocean going sloop rigged sailing yacht. You get an incredible and unforgettable experience. An "Emotional Rescue".

The most amazing boat ride !!!! Extremely nice couple, Michele & michael! They were accommodating and so friendly! We sailed passed downtown and other historical sites as well as the Ravenel Bridge at sunset! We brought appetizers, wine and beer. We watched the sun set as we sailed all around the bay!! It was simply magical! we enjoyed every single... More

We took our son sailing for his eleventh birthday. Mike & Michelle showed us a great time. We stayed in the harbor but had plenty of wind. Mike & Michelle kept the sails reefed so our son could sail the boat with ease. Moved at about 6 knots with a steady 20 knot breeze. The boat was beautiful and in... More

Right off the bat, captain Mike was so kind enough to fit us in on a short notice and him and his wife were just amazing and kind. They definitely were very educational and expressed how much they love being in the water. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and will definitely do this again on our next trip... More

We (three couples) had a great time on Cap'n Mike's 42' Beneteau, "Emotional Rescue." We motored a bit, sailed a bunch, learned much about the history of Charleston. Extreme high tide and favorable winds allowed us to sail right along the Battery. What a wonderful way to see the city. Also sailed to Castle Pickney and Fort Sumter. The boat... More

Had a 2 hour cruise today that was perfection. Totally relaxing, educational, comfortable, and worth the money. If you want to see the city from a unique perspective then a leisurely cruise on Charleston's harbor is in order. Captain Tom is capable and knowledgeable. He provides appropriate narration and as is adept at knowing when to be silent and let... More

My husband and I spent the evening on the Emotional Rescue. The com[any and sailing were both amazing. We had a wonderful history tour of the beautiful city by water. The boat was lovely. We left our cruise so relaxed and excited to share the experience with friends next time. Captain Mike and Michelle provided us with an evening we... More

Michelle and Mike Spanos captained and crewed their big beatiful vessel so expertly that you wouldn't notice the skills involved. While we navigated all over the Charelston Harbor from Fort Sumter to the Ravenel Bridge they talked Charleston history, their own history in sailing, and had us convinced to follow in their footsteps. They were happy to do all the... More

Captain Mike and Michelle were awesome! Great company and great sail. We took clients out to "sell" them on Charleston. Well, they were sold. We had a great meal at sunset while viewing the Charleston Harbor. I will definitely use Adventures in Sailing in the future. Book with Captain Mike! They also do overnight charters and day trips.

We are locals who host family and friends from out of town, and this is our "go to" sailor and boat when we want to impress them all. Compared to other private charters we have taken, "Emotional Rescue" is the most 'state of the art boat' and Capt Mike Spanos has a wealth and detail of local history much greater... More
