We made a quick walk through the park due to a fast approaching thunderstorm. They were showing The new Jumanji movie and their we're various food trucks. Also there is pier fishing. Seems like a nice community-oriented place to go!
This park is wonderful. There are sidewalks and a long pier that goes out into the Cooper River. This is a great place to run or walk. It is animal friendly and easily accessible. Nice playground for the little ones to enjoy.

Kathy, the park is wheel chair friendly. It is located underneath the Ravenel Bridge and there are no stairs to maneuver. A walking pier, and park along the Cooper River. There are hotels at Patriot's Point, next door and hotels at the foot of the bridge, just to the North. I know there is a Holiday Inn Express, Red Roof in. Just google Hotels-Mt. Pleasant-on Johnny Dodds Blvd.
