Once again, had a great restful stay on Kiawah. We love that the beaches aren't crowded and the calmness of the waves are great for young kids. The proximity to great restaurants in Charleston is a plus.

This island is gorgeous in every way; beautiful landscaping, paved bike trails, the beach, the architecture of the houses.......just amazing. We will be back! We loved being able to bike to breakfast every day, bike on the beach and swim in the warm water!

Wonderful place for a family vacation. Long bike trails with beautiful live oaks. Lots of beach access. The island offers day camps for kids and naturalist tours. Several incredible restaurants and a shopping center just outside this gated community.

There are a number of shops renting bicycles on the Sanctuary so I am sure you will get one. There are indoor pool in fitness club which may be heated but I am not sure.
