Nice public beach area

Lots of parking spaces and reasonable rates to park. The walk on boardwalk is kind of a hike to beach. Beach very clean.

This has been a great beach park and access for a number of years and will be again when it is cleaned up. Hurricane came to town i n October and the decision has been made to make park cleanup a low priority and get roads and lives back to normal. THAT is being done at an unbelievable rate. But... More

Parking is $1/hour. Has a boardwalk walkway down to the beach with some amazing homes see. As this was off season and about 2 months after hurricane Matthew, it was quite quiet and the playground was not open if that's important to you. Parking sign says it closes at 6.

Was there with our kids and grandchildren this summer. Very clean, it has lifeguards and plenty of cheap parking.

Its amazing how 1 mile can make a difference with the sand. There must of been alot of churn that week so when we went to this beach it was less rocky than Islanders. Guess I'm spoiled with smooth sand. The water isnt like the bahamas where u can see to the bottom because theres so much sea life. I... More

Nice, quiet, white sands beach with less people than the free beach. Worth the $.50 an hour. No shells, but a beautiful beach that many people don't know about.

Had a great morning! Get out there before sunrise and you won't be disappointed. Seemed like a private beach. We wanted to get out there before it got too hot(the sun can be brutal in the afternoon)

Very nice beach and the waves are relentless. The walk is a little far but is surrounded by beauty. My second favorite beach on the island.

This is our 'go to' beach because it's never very crowded and the parking is good. It's kind of a long way to get your stuff to the actual beach BUT there is a boardwalk all the way to the sand so a beach buggy works great! Also there is a playground and bathrooms as well

This was the halfway point of our daily beach runs and is a lovely, and not very busy, play and picnic area. And shady which is a big plus in the heat of the summer.
