And people charge to see this ? A fairly b o r I n g community where every home is some shade of brown. I gather thIs a restrictive covenant. Not much to see unless you like green leaves. The 'Lighthouse' was a disappointment. The only saving grace were the musicians who were providing entertainment at several restaurants. We could... More

This is a large and great area with plenty of walking trails, 2 lakes, fishing, picnic areas and more. There is plenty of wildlife including various birds and quite a few alligators, so walk those trails close to the water with care, especially on the sunny side. In the summer there is a huge flower area. I've never seen a... More

This is my favorite place to wander around on my days off. I love the serene atmostphere while walking the various trails. There are all kinds of little information signs that tell you about various fauna, history, and wildlife in the area.

We had a great time fishing in sea Pines in various lakes. Caught tons of catfish. The grounds were beautiful to walk around and there are hiking trails with great signage.

We visited a few months after the hurricane came through. It was a little cluttered and a little smelly, but still absolutely beautiful and abundant with coastal animal life.

We stayed at a resort hotel near Sea Pines Forest Preserve and walked from the hotel to the preserve. The preserve is still recovering from the most recent hurricane. All around the Preserve, thick trees covered with moss and wavering bamboo lined the streets and alleys. Driving, biking, or simply walking around are a pleasant experience that you will never... I have been going to Hilton Head for over 15 years and had never gone to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve until this year. It is a really nice place to explore nature, bird watch, and even do some fishing.

Be sure to visit the Preserve and go to the Indian grounds. Little piece of interesting history. Great place to walk or ride bikes. Picnic areas, boat/alligator tour. If you go during the summer be sure to bring bug spray!

Beautiful nature. It was interesting to see the damage from the hurricane. It's a nice, peaceful trail to walk.

loved biking here...was amazed at the number of trees down from hurricane Mathew....even after weeks of cleanup...we realized how fortunate we are to live up north and not experience this...still beautifully kept thought
