Carabao Island is quiet Island with limited tourism, but great scenery and you can snorkel right infront of the hotel within a couple of meters of the beach, I was suprised at the quality of the reef here.

Well worth a visit to escape busy Boracay. it is unspoilt, has fantastic snorkelling spots and a couple of lovely hotels. I recommend The Beach House if you are planning to stay overnight!

I love the peaceful vibe of Carabao Island. It is known as a twin island of Boracay but with more peaceful ambiance. You can travel the whole island in a day by a motorcycle. Just prepare yourself and let the paradise surprise you.

We spend there 3 days. Is very amazing, very wild and good if want to chill for some days..is not boracay, after 9pm there is nothing to do! You can fell the nature and the locals are very nice. The roads are really destroyed, take care.

Lanas beach is has pebbles and corals but offers a stunning sunset view. Poblacion beach has a wide stretch of amazing wide beach with fine yellow sand. Lanas has better but more expensive accommodations while Poblacion offers simple but cheap accommodations.

Avoid around election times, it gets very noisy. Check reviews on resorts and read into them - some are overly expensive for what you get. Coral beaches, urchins in water, but great snorkeling, and not far from a nip to Boracay.

Carabao island is the perfect getaway paradise if you feel the need to really relax. Especially if you've spent a few days on Boracay.

Stayed here three nights. All the places along Lanas beach are great. Beach House had amazing food and Lanas was good too. Stayed at White Beach and Kite Resort - quaint and nice. No stress living. Visit this island if you want some peace and quiet. There's island touring too which is fun for a day trip (cliff jumping, bat... More

Carabao is a quiet island a short boat trip from Boracay and I am told what Boracay was like 20years ago. Beautiful quiet beaches, friendly locals, smiling children. You are shown the islands beauty whilst riding pillion on a motor cycle, stopping of to dive of the cliff, or swim through the coastal cave to the ocean. Climbing the trail... More
