This is a truly amazing museum of art. If you are interested in religious art, you will be blown away by this wonderful museum tucked away in Bob Jones University. It has a relatively small collection, but really high quality examples from all eras, especially pre-renaissance.

The museum's structure itself transports you into Europe. The paintings are masterful. The exhibits are awesome. We had a private tour of some of the key pieces and it brings such insight into what you are seeing. Enjoy!

My wife is religious and enjoyed it. About 20 rooms of paintings and pieces. My kids not so much. I appreciated it for what it was. For the first half hour. Campus very generic. 1970's. All the buildings the same. But they aren't here for football and frat parties.

Anybody that loves art and especially sacred Christian art needs to see this museum and gallery. There is so much to see from sculptures to paintings furniture and more. I saw this museum about 30 plus years ago and did not really see what was there nor appreciated it. Then this spring I went on an extended trip to Europe.... More

It is a must see if in the area and you enjoy religious art. Tours available. On campus of Bob Jones University. Probably not a good place if young children.

Beautiful museum with 27 separate galleries. More than just art on the wall though. They also have sculptures, vases, furniture, etc. We loved the way they did the rooms with pieces of architecture. Many of the paintings were Italian, but they had a temporary exhibit room of Dutch paintings also. All the paintings are religiously themed. Some we thought were... More

The art Museum and Gallery is wonderful. Beautiful rooms filled with beautiful art. Photo by famous artist are on display. Reuben's, van dykes and others. The Museum has the largest collection of Religious Art in the Western Hemisphere. Check the calendar for exhibitions that are current.

Reverent atmosphere with all religious art. A maze of rooms with walls full of painting and furniture. Mostly lesser known or unknown artists. Scavenger hunt is great idea but not enough to hold our nine year old's interest. The Explore Rome room was more interactive and educational for him.
