The At the Chef’s Table Culinary Tour affords guests the opportunity to sit at the tables of some of the city’s top chefs and sample their signature dishes. Tours include special access and experiences that go far beyond the normal dining encounter. Not only do you get to meet the chefs and sample their creations, but you also get to see cooking demonstrations (usually offered on Tuesday tours), eat in elegant private dining areas, and more. Stops include visits to: Nose Dive (Gastropub) Soby's on the Side (Deli and Catering)* The Lazy Goat (Mediterranean cuisine and tapas) Soby's New South Cuisine (fine Southern cuisine) Passarelle Bistro (French inspired cuisine) Beyond the memorable culinary experiences, you will also learn fascinating insights into Greenville’s rich history, culture and architecture as well. (*If a restaurant has a schedule conflict, a stop at The Loft at Soby's or Papi's Tacos may be substituted. )

The tour guide was most knowledgeable and quite enjoyable. I've done the tour twice and I will do it again. There is always some new area to find out about and the guide makes it most enjoyable and memorable. Not sure of my exact date because it was in late 2016.

Had a wonderful time on this tour and worth every penny. Can't wait to do it again. Left the tour full for the rest of the day.

What a wonderful way to learn and sample different cuisines in Downtown Greenville! Every venue is within short walking distance and John, our guide, is very helpful in his descriptions and history of each restaurant. Also, every effort is made to address any dietary restrictions on a personal level. We appreciated the head chefs speaking directly to us and explaining... More

When we travel to new places we like to eat at local restaurants, and take tours to learn more about the area's history. During our trip, my boyfriend had a broken leg so a walking tour was out. Then we found Greenville history tours and it was everything we wanted to do in one booking. We did the BBQ tour... More

John drive us to three BBQ restaurants. The food was excellent. In each place a person in charge explained the preparation method used by the restaurant. John was very entertaining the whole time, even in the van, with quizzes and interesting history of the places. We were in Greenville just for a day but will definitely be visiting the place... Very enjoyable tour of the Liberty bridge/Falls Park area of downtown Greenville. Guide is well versed on its history. I have taken friends on this tour before and would recommend it highly. Very lovely area of downtown.

we had 5 venues and one was better then next. A different drink was included at each course and the serving size was more then a bite. We were in the kitchen with chef as he made a pasta dish with home made pasta with filet mignon and cheese. Next to a private wine cellar at soy's with one of... More

We just moved to the Greenville area and were having our son visit from Denver. We wanted to find something that all of us would enjoy. We were not disappointed. The tour was fun, informative with history galore and tastings that would satisfy any foodie. We were entertained and left to start planning our next tour. You will not be... More
