The cruise was wonderful, and Cap'n Rod's stories were quite entertaining. He shared so much history of the Grand Strand region, especially the Georgetown area. We'll take his cruise again when our kids come to visit next year.

Cap'n Rod can sure spin a story. We only got to tour one of the plantations, but we got to see several from the boat. Cap'n Rod told us the history of the land, plantations, and families around the bay. It was a fun adventure.

Absolutely loved this excursion! Captain Rod was extremely knowledgeable about history and nature and a riot to entertain us! We saw dolphins and countless alligators in their natural habitat. We collected shells from the beach until we couldn't carry anymore! It began to rain as we headed back to dock and he kept us onboard until it was okay for... More

A great way to view area's you can not see in your car. Cap'n Rod is amazingly knowledgeable of the history of the low country and its contributions to the development of our wonderful country. The brief stop for shelling was a hit with most on board. We even saw a GATOR. If you have a few hours to kill... More

Friends told us about this tour and it delivered. Captain Doug was entertaining and knowledgeable. "Shell Island" was a blast. Lots of shells of all sizes and types and they were easy pickings if you don't mind getting wet. For the best experience, wear your swim suit and wade in on the side of the island away from where the... More

Was looking for something new to do in Myrtle Beach. Took the light house and shelling tour. Choose this tour after talking to Ms. Fran. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Captain Doug was our host along with Ken, first mate. Captain Doug was very knowledgeable with history stories that kept the children's attention. Did get to see a few... More

My husband and I decided to do the plantation tour by boat. We enjoyed seeing the plantations and learning a lot about Georgetown and surrounding areas. The bald eagles and Ospreys and many other birds were a plus on our first tour. Learning about the eagles nests was really interesting. Now I love history and finding out about indigo and... More

We used this tour company for a shelling tour, and this time we went on the Hobcaw Barony Tour. The boat tour guide Captain Rod was excellent. Really knew his history of the area, and was really very informative. I would highly recommend this tour for either/ and the shelling tour this company goes above expectations. Extremely friendly, and informative.... More
