Wonderful trip to the beach. Plenty of parking and enough picnic tables for 10 tour busloads of people. Waves were crashing. Nice clean restrooms nearby. Short walk to the beach from the parking lot. As we entered the State Park the attendant said I owed...More

Beautiful beaches along this stretch of state park area. We couldn’t find a “town” so to speak in the Edisto area but we found many beautiful beaches, beach houses for rent, a golf course, and what looks like a lovely summer vacation area situated perfectly...More

This is a beautiful State Park right on the ocean. As with the rest of the island, the beach is covered with many types of shells. There are camping spots with electric and water hook-ups that can be rented year round. There is a supermarket...More

The beach and area are beautiful. It was quiet. BEWARE!!!! After my own bad experience, and researching other sites, this town is notorious for speed traps by their local police on Jungle Rd and on Palmetto Blvd. We did not see the speed limit sign....More

I don't recall seeing a rental car provider anywhere on the island. The nearest place might be in Hollywood or West Ashley. You'd probably have to stop there first and pick up the car, but that's a guess.
