South Carolina does not have a of sidewalks, or really anywhere to exercise outdoors. Saluda Shoals is right on the side of the Saluda River. It is a 3 mile paved walking path that's great for an out and back run! Theres also small walking trails that fork off of the main trail. In the summer there is a splash... More

The view was breath taking. This resturant has two locations. We had dinner at the one on the lake. It was amazing. We had a good waitress who recited the specials from memory. She was attentive to our needs without us asking. The frozen drinks and entrees she recommended were great. Seeing the sunset from the wrap around patio was... More

Lot's of fun seasonal activities, a nice slice of river and an attractive park with walking trails makes Saluda Shoals a great destination. I can also recommend the River Center there for receptions, meetings or retreats. It could comfortably accommodate 150-200 or so people, it's fully accessible for the physically challenged and is an attractive setting for people to gather.

My inlaws have walked their dogs here for years and love it. The dog park is well visited on a daily basis, and the greenway path by the river for walking or jogging is fantastic. But my review focuses on the cycling opportunities for which I give it 5 stars. Road or off-road SaludaShoals has got you covered. Now that... More

My husband took me here to walk. The paths are paved and it was quiet and not crowded. Good place to walk, walk dogs or ride bikes.

One of my favorite parks in the area. Beautiful walking paths, great picnic areas, and the centers are nice for special events.

What a light show, drove through and took a ride on the shuttle, got a hot chocolate. Everyone around us, including us, were enjoying the last night of 2016 with the light show, Lasar show!! Beautiful!!!

Great place to visit. Nice large dog park too but will need to show proof of shots and neuter. Been several times but this trip we rented bikes and rode the trails. Have also been for birthday parties, wedding, river tubing, and just walking the trails.

Took the grand kids here back during the summer and they spent hours at the splash pad and playground. My enjoyment came from watching them enjoy themselves.

Beautiful trails, nature buildings and much more. Playgrounds and splash pad for kids. Has kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and many sports. Best park in South Carolina. A must do for visiting.
