This Zoo and Botanical Garden is truly a unique experience for adults and children! It's clean and the animals look healthy and well cared for. Absolutely a must if you're visiting the Columbia area and have time to spend 4 to 5 hours here.

You really get up close views of many animals here. Most animals are in nice roomy habitats unlike some zoos with cages. You can feed giraffes and birds. Go early in the summer because it can get really hot.

not inside the Zoo, but there are areas just outside the main entrance
