Beautiful bridge!

You can see the bridge from lots of different places in Charleston -- my favorite is still from the water.

It's a beautiful bridge and I'm sure it cost millions to build. But it's a route in to Charleston, not a destination.

My family walked the bridge to the midway point. It was about 3 mi roundtrip. It was a nice sunny day and the pictures are beautiful of the bridge and Charleston and the USS Yorktown. You can park at the bottom of the bridge on the Charleston side and there is a bike lane and a walking lane. Very safe.... More

We went under the bridge on a boat tour, and drove across it to go to the beach. Really magnificent to see! An architectural wonder!

No toll for this landmark bridge, which is a distinctive feature of the Charleston skyline. Their is a pedestrian lane on the bridge. There are many who walk or jog across the bridge. Parking is available on both sides of the bridge. We drove over it several times while in Charleston. We photographed the bridge from Magnolia Cemetery, from Mount... More

This cable bridge is a wonderful site while in Charleston! Park and walk/run the bridge. It overlooks Patriots Point which by itself of is s great site to visit. A must visit in Charleston.

We have done this bridge walk(3-4 miles round trip) every time we visit. The bridge is gorgeous and the views of Charleston are great. There are also restrooms at the park at the base of the bridge on the Mt Pleasant side with a very nice fishing piere to walk out on as well.

Visited Patriot's Point near base of the bridge - impressed by monument and fountain to military, gift shop and pier for sitting and relaxing, watching sailboats, or just walking to the end and back or fishing. Very well-maintained.

We drive across the bridge in the way to patriots point. It's so unique and at night it's all lite up. Beautiful picture spot. Neat to see it spot lighted on "Southern Charm".
