This fine bridge is quite amazing to see as well as drive over. A wonderful job of engineering and design. The look of it changes as you follow the lines of the bridge driving over it. I marvel at the construction of such a bridge

We rode bicycles from the waterfront park at Patriot's Point to the Yorktown. The park is beautiful and has restrooms and a pier.

This bridge is nice to view and to run over, great views of the river and Charleston. It reminds me a lot of the Zakim bridge in Boston.

If there was another way to get into Charleston from Rt 17 i would take the detour. It's very high and I'm not a fan of long bridges. I was the passenger and it was rough for me. If you enjoy the marvel of a...More

8 lanes to transport people throughout Charleston...all done in style. The bridge not only transports people, however is a backdrop for those taking the Ft. Sumter and USS Yorktown tours. Nice view coming into the CHS harbour

Drove over it multiple times and there were people always walking it. We didn't get the chance to walk but I would recommend it just for the views.
