We live nearby and visit downtown Charleston frequently. This weekend we wanted to do something a little different, so we signed up for a late morning cruise on Prevailing Winds. Brian was very friendly and we had so much fun talking with him and learning some new history about Charleston Harbor. We saw so many dolphins--even had a pod of... More

I would recommend this to people who want a personalized trip because there are the max of 6 people on the boat. The day we went it was my party of 4. Capt. Brian was very knowledgeable about the area and harbor. We had nice afternoon winds about 5 knots and saw dolphins and a sea turtle plus various sea... More

We both loved our trip to Charleston and my husband was looking for something extra special to end our trip. He decided to book a sunset cruise. It was definitely the Grand Finale he had hoped for. Temperatures were a little on the cool side but Captain Brian made sure we were prepared. He was very knowledgeable and answered all... More

We were lucky enough to get the cruise to ourselves, and we appreciated Brian still taking us out for the afternoon. He was more than happy to answer any questions that we had (whether about the city or about sailing) and offered up some highlights of different points of interest along the way. For the rest of the time, we... More

I love doing things that are off the beaten track (although I did find this company on Tripadvisor!), which is why I booked a catamaran sailing and not a larger boat. My boyfriend & I were thrilled to find out that we were the only passengers that evening & had the most relaxing sunset sailing, just laying on the top... More

This was the highlight of our weekend in Charleston. Captain Brian was very knowledgeable and made a great experience even more entertaining. I would highly recommend this. It was very peaceful and relaxing, with gorgeous views. We saw several dolphins close by as well. Great, great fun!

Captain Brian and the boat were awesome for a couples sunset cruise. The ride is BYOB and extremely enjoyable. You will not be disappointed with this experience!

Had a great time with Captain Brian on a private daytime charter. The boat is super comfortable. We covered a lot territory with Brian pointing out historical and interesting points along the way. It's the best way to see the harbor and very reasonably priced.

We had a great time with Brian on the sunset sail this weekend. We love seeing cities from the water and his catamaran sail was such a fun activity for the evening. Would definitely recommend to couples, families and anyone interested in a harbor cruise without the big crowds.

Sailing with Capt.Brian on a sunset harbor tour was both relaxing and informative. With a maximum capacity of six Prevailing Wind is a very comfortable vessel. Capt. Brian is an excellent sailor and very knowledgeable about Charleston history. Charleston Sailing Adventures provides a great value and is a much better choice than the larger (crowded) harbor tour vessels.
