These homes are very pretty, but I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. They don't offer any information or visitor sites so be prepared you are really just walking past private homes that colorfully decorated.

For this place being the most photographed place in Charleston I was a little underwhelmed. I mean it is a pretty street, but I guess I was expecting more. Go see it, it is really popular, but don't go in with huge expectations.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a stroll down rainbow row after our supper in the evening in Charleston. There’s not much shopping, or anything to buy, however an iconic location.

A must see, the colors are magnificent and you have to learn the reason why they are painted different colors. Love history and this entire town embodies history and various stories.

Loved the charming homes and pretty colors. But you can't get a picture of all the homes because of the tall trees. So I had to take pictures of each home. I am glad to see it as it is on the list of must-do....More

It's hard to imagine the true history of these houses, but they still represent a beautiful area of downtown Charleston. Very colorful and well maintained houses. On a narrow street leading down to the Battery. Very hard to photograph with vehicles in the picture. Worth...More

We unintentionally walked by Rainbow Row and it was a great surprise. These homes are well kept and together are so unique. I loved the contract of bright, vibrant colors and classics design.

Difficult to appreciate due to the narrow street so hard to get a full overview of all the buildings. Helps if you have someone with you or a brochure to explain the significance.

It's all pedestrian-friendly since it's an open neighborhood street. You can walk along the sidewalk and I'm sure you can bring your pup!
