We were fortunate to take part in the Beafort and Savannah 3 night / 4 day bike tour in the middle of October. Our expectations were not only met but exeded given the countryside rides, beautiful inns, and exceptional cuisine. We felt an instant connection to Alex and Karen and shared many stories and laughs with them. We saw places... More

My husband and I greatly enjoyed a 3 day accompanied bike trip through interesting areas of the Charleston low country and Savannah GA, hosted by Alex and Karen. We learned a lot about the history of the region, and were happy about the flat, quiet roads and the good quality of the bikes. The hotel and inn where we stayed... More

Most excellent biking/walking tour of historic Charleston/Savannah area. Perfect for people who want to combine bicycling in the lowlands while visiting plantations, revolutionary and civil war sites, mingling with the locals while enjoying fantastic restaurants and top notch lodging. The main reason this tour was so successful for me and my wife, is that it is owned and operated by... More

We just returned from a 2-day bike tour with Charleston Bike Tours and had a lovely experience. Alex and Karen went out of their way to set up a special tour that fit our schedule (around a 30th anniversary trip). They took care of everything -accommodations, bike gear, and food and made great suggestions for our anniversary dinner. We were... More

We only had one day available and Alec and Karen were able to accommodate us for the day on a 8 hour whirlwind bike tour of Charleston and then over the bridge to Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan's Island and a van ride to Boone's Hall Plantation. I wished we had more days to explore but will be back again for a... More

I had another fantastic trip with Charleston Bicycle Tours (aka Alex & Karen Graham). Alex and Karen are wonderful hosts; when you travel with CBT every detail on the trip is covered from the bike, bike gear, charming historic hotels, amazing restaurants and scenic bike rides every day. The other guests on the bike tour were warm and friendly. We... More

We enjoy active vacations that get us outdoors and expose us to an area's history, culture, and cuisine. Our week-long trip with trip leaders Alex and Karen, and other trip guests, was a home-run. We stayed in delightful, old hotels that provided character, comfort, and old-world charm. We had several group dinners in delightful restaurants that exposed us to the... More

CBT is run by a lovely couple, Alex and Karen and he is the most knowledgeable expert on Charleston and its environs that you can imagine. They lead very accessible bike trips and outstanding restaurants. Tour plantations and kick your feet up at the end of the day with a 5-star hotel experience. A memorable way to see the Low... More

This was our first trip to the Charleston area as well as our first bike trip, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. Our hosts, Alex and Karen, were warm and friendly and thought of everything! The hotels were in fantastic locations and very nice. The bike rides took us through beautiful neighborhoods, wonderful shoreline, and... More

My husband and I had a very enjoyable 3 day bike tour with Charleston Bicycle Tours; booking was done online and by phone with Alex who handled all inquiries and concerns in a prompt and friendly manner. Both Alex and Karen were wonderful hosts and guides; bikes were in excellent condition; hotels were lovely and very "southern"; riding distances were... More
