Take the family take to dog this is a great park. There are two fountains for splash and play. Huge swings right on the water front for relaxing and beautiful trees to walk under with many benches to stop and rest.

Very clean nice park for a stroll or to take a rest. It's fun to watch kids cooling off in the fountains, which is permitted. Fountains are pretty. Lots of benches throughout the park. Nice view of the harbor.

We had a guide tell us about the landfill, the history of the half mile park and why it is so named. the beauty is clear so take some time to walk with an ice cream cone, drink and camera.

There are parking garages nearby. You will be very lucky to find a parking meter close by or have enough change. A quarter gets you 15 minutes. Enforced to 6:00 pm free on weekends.
