Go to the Waterfront Park! It's beautiful with very nice fountains and a beautiful view of the harbor. There are swings where tourists can rest and enjoy the view. There is also a shaded garden area. We felt safe at this park area. There are...More

Very quaint park. Large water fountain that kids can play in. Swings on the pier for people to sit on and enjoy the water as well as plenty of benches. Another must stop when visiting Charleston!

We enjoyed our visit to the waterfront park. Many people were enjoying the large water fountain on the hot afternoon we were there, especially the children. We enjoyed sitting in the porch type swings over looking the water. We enjoyed watching the boats. There is...More

We found this by accident after eating at a restaurant nearby. We wanted to see the water and saw all the kids playing in the fountain. It was a nice place to cool down on this 95 degree day!

We walked down here from our hotel. Some homeless folks were there sleeping on the ground under the pavilion. Some were making roses with the trees fronds. A cruise ship was in port. There were couples swinging on the benches. Pretty area. The park looked...More

A very nice park and pretty neat fountains, but at the end of the day it was just a park, not something I would classify as an attraction.

What can you say about a bridge. It's cool looking, it goes over water, and you can bike and or walk across it. There is parking available on the Mount Pleasant side if your so inclined to walk across it. My favorite thing about this...More

It is a City of Charleston park, so there are definite restrictions. I'd call the city and ask. Parking can be a problem, and there are always LOTS of tourists, so any sort of privacy will be difficult. Not so sure if you... More

There are parking garages nearby. You will be very lucky to find a parking meter close by or have enough change. A quarter gets you 15 minutes. Enforced to 6:00 pm free on weekends.
