Great place to get a great view of the harbor. It is beautiful at night. Enjoy watching the children play in the fountain and sitting and swinging.

If the weather is warm, let the kids wear their swim suits and maybe bring a towel. The waterfall fountain, seen from the street, is filled with waterspouts that invites children to play in the water to cool off. Strolling down the pier, families, and...More

A great place on a sunny day for a little walk. The park is very pretty and the fountain in very nice. The pier had a few good local musicians.

This is a beautiful spot for a walk along the water, and the fountain makes for a nice place for young children to splash in the water safely. I think they could do even more with this space to make it truly fantastic, and there...More

We experience the waterfront park after a nice local meal, finishing off the evening with a great walk and view on a beautiful evening night overlooking Charleston bay. Even late night, it seem very safe, not many homeless or beggars like you find in many...More

Variety of benches and porch type swings to sit and watch ships coming and going. Great place to relax by the water. The fountain at the entry to the park is great for pictures.

This was a nice park by the water, but I did like white point gardens more. You still get a lot of nice shots for photos though!

All you need is walking shoes for this experience. It's a Charleston landmark with a beautiful view of the harbor. Walk down to the end of the docks and watch the dolphins. Bring your young children and let them splash in the pineapple fountain. There...More

It is a City of Charleston park, so there are definite restrictions. I'd call the city and ask. Parking can be a problem, and there are always LOTS of tourists, so any sort of privacy will be difficult. Not so sure if you... More

There are parking garages nearby. You will be very lucky to find a parking meter close by or have enough change. A quarter gets you 15 minutes. Enforced to 6:00 pm free on weekends.
