This was on our walking tour. The monuments and headstones are history. The guide on our motor tour said the women weaving in front of the church were the best in Charleston. We returned to buy a basket.

This church is small but absolutely beautiful. We went in and those was a man playing a piano in the second floor and when you walk in you just feel this peace.

Well worth seeing. A long list of historic characters have visited this church including George Washington. A typical old Anglican Church.

We walked by St. Michaels and intended to peek in briefly, but the volunteer on hand explained that we could join a quick tour, which we decided to do. I recommend that you do the same. I visited as part of a guided architectural/historical walking tour. I was pleased that we had the chance to get into one of the "four corners of the law" of Charleston - this was the God's law hub (with federal, state and local law on the other corners).
