The oldest location and one of the most beautiful American churches... I was lucky enough to drop in around 12pm, and a very nice man was there to answer questions and tell about the church he loves very much - that was a treat!

Saw this church while on our carriage ride. It is a beautiful church and is one of many churches in Charleston.

Although the church has great potential for tourists, it was closed during our visit and no information was available. It was disappointing. We walked back on three occasions with hope. No luck...it was closed.

This is a rare beauty! The oldest church in Charleston, and just beautifully kept! You can spend time looking at the architecture and sculptures, give yourself plenty!

We just peeked through the doors into the beautiful church. It's worth a stop as you walk through the city.

Very interesting early republic church, both magnificent and small, homely at the same time. One gets a true feel of history just walking in. Two signers of the Declaration of Independence are interred in the churchyard.

It was under renovation/ restoration outside, but you could still enter via a side entrance. It was worth it to see the altar area and the glorious Tiffany stain glass windows. Definitely a church to put on the list.

Beautiful Historic church in Downtown Charleston. Amazing Tiffany windows. Well worth a visit. Go at a time when the bells are ringing

We were on a walking tour that stopped by this lovely historic church. The stained glass is beautiful. George Washington and other important people have worshiped here. This is still an active congregation. Wish we had been here on a Sunday to worship with them.
