Their is a huge array of stalls, inside and out, selling everything imaginable. The atmosphere is always good and it's great to go home with lots of bargains. Open Saturday and Sunday. Best to go early in the summer to beat the heat.

Large flea market ideal for grown ups because too many people smoke there. Air inside the buildings have the cigarette smoke throughout. Product pricing are inconsistent. Not good for windy days, dirt gets blown all over. Good amount of parking space, though a little tight....More

I wouldn't use the Jockey Lot for these sort of purchases unless it was toys and books for children, or plants for the keen gardener, local honey and preserves. You may find extraordinary items, but the lot is huge and it... More

They do have dogs and cats for sale every weekend. I would suggest though that you are better off, Joan, going to look at PAWS in Anderson first. They have a lot of animals up for adoption and all are very well taken care... More
