We were excited to see the "Docent on Duty" sign out on the church door. I was a hot August day and we were greeted enthusiastically by our docent, Rebecca, and invited to come right into the cool sanctuary. She was knowledgeable, entertaining and passionate...More

Even if you can't get inside the church it is worth it to stroll around the grounds of the graveyard and learn about some of the notable people who have been buried here over the centuries.

Founded in about 1711. Well kept and in great condition. Interesting grave yard they even buried some British Officers and the graves are marked with British Flags. Docents are there for tours most of the time.

This church is amazingly beautiful. I got a history about it too which was nice. The people inside are so lovely and sweet and open to any questions and visitors. My friends grandparents go to church here and say the services are lovely.

Was on a biking tour of old Beaufort and stopped to see the church and grounds. Been here awhile--lots of 18th and 19th century headstones in the church's yard. One of the first in the area.

Be sure to stop by during the week and listen to the history of this amazing church. I am pretty sure that it is the best attended church in Beaufort for a very good reason. So many work to make it successful.
