Low tide provide miles of beach walking! You walk through an amazing Ghost forest of Loblolly Pines which were lost from recent Hurricanes! Sad to see the damage from Hurricane Matthew in within the Camp. Campground is old and outdated as the State has decided...More

Hunting Island is a beautiful spot. Unfortunately, it is still recovering from the 2016 Hurricane Season. Regardless, the nature center and lighthouse are wonderful. There is also a nice marsh walk.

The State Park is beautiful, but there is a per person entrance fee for the day -- so plan a visit for more than an hour or two. You could spend a lot of time on the great beach and taking hikes on the trails....More

When I visited last year, many trees had been knocked down which had obviously been the result of some devastation to the area. However, the way some of the trees had fallen had formed something that was surprisingly beautiful. The beach and forest walks are...More

There are several listings for RV rentals in the Murrells Inlet area. I'm sure if you check around the area you can find what you need. You might check with the park office to see if they can advise you of any.
