Is store is a few blocks off Bay Street but it is worth it. It is wonderful to walk in and smell chocolate. We got a half pound of truffles, two chocolate strawberries and some Easter candy...the strawberries were divine...can't wait to try the rest! All the chocolates were reasonably priced.

During my kids Spring Break we walked around downtown Beaufort and hit up several stores. A must is The Chocolate Tree. Great select of chocolate. They were making chocolate covered strawberries, very cool to watch. A little pricey but it's all handmade goodies! Only downside is it's a small store and gets crowded.

The chocolate tree is a staple amongst beaufortonians and visitors alike. They have been around forever and you can always count on them for good quality, fresh, homemade chocolates, truffles, and assorted chocolate delicacies. Do not miss out on one of beauforts gems. They have other candies for people who don't like chocolate (if there is such a thing). Go!!

Its smaller than some of the candy shops we have been to. However this is a little family owned chocolate shop that has a lot of charm. We had a few pieces and they were really good. Everyone was very polite and nice too. Great place to stop for a sweet tooth.

Wow...the first step you take into this charming little store transports you to chocolate nirvana. Chocolate everything everywhere plus a window where you can watch fondant centers get covered in chocolate like in the episode of I love Lucy with the candies on the conveyor belt. There is even a picture of Lucy and Ethel from that episode posted on... More
