I was interested in the topiaries, the two gentlemen with me went along to humor me. I was disappointed to see the house was closed, but the price of admission remained the same. Some of the topiaries were not in the best of shape, which...More

A very nice place, but very expensive when the main house is closed and you only get to see the gardens (which are beautiful). Stroller accessible and a nice way to spend a small hour or so. AAA discount available.

This is a beautiful property overlooking the water. We lucked out and had a beautiful sunny day, which added to the enjoyment. You pay at the entrance, then you receive a map that tells you all about the gardens, what's in each area, and what...More

I was excited to see all the animal topiarys but I have to say that I was disappointed. It isn't that big and the topiary's aren't that impressive. It is a beautiful location. We toured the house, which is a little interesting. All in all,...More

Do go as early as possible. The summer months can be very hot. Lots of plants and flowers to see. Definitely check it out with kids and loved ones.

Our group was going to stop here just to walk through quickly, but the topiary gardens are really beautiful. The unusual shapes along with the variety of flowers and food grown make this a very worthwhile stop on the Mansion Tour. We all wanted to...More

A wonderful garden setting to stroll through and admire the flowers and topiaries. My kids liked walking around the pathways, and got joy at the large "animals".

This house is part of the Newport Preservation Society but is quite far away from the more popular houses. If you like gardens and history it’s worth the trip.
