Nice intimate village. Enjoyable way to spend several hours. We were there on a blustery winter day. We lingered in the shops and chatted with the proprietors. There is a little something for most folk to enjoy.

I love walking around downtown Wickford. While the shops can be somewhat expensive, it's a beautiful area. Good food and great to walk around on a nice day. Even in during the Christmas season there is a lot going on.

We decided to visit Wickford center after the holidays. The stores are lovely and some of the homes are historical and well kept. Fun walking around and then relaxing over lunch.

Spent 4 hrs wandering around the streets, harbour & shops. The houses/buildings are a delight and lots of them have names and years from the 17 & 1800's on them. The weather was a little cool, but this was not an issue as the quaintness of this town was well worth it. There is a lovely small harbour with great... More

We were advised to visit this village whilst on Rhode Island - it is so cute. There is a lovely albeit small harbour were we sat and had our lunch watching the boats coming in - the problem was there just wasn't enough dock space for them and many just turned around and left again. Nice to watch them though.... More

On a gorgeous fall day like this, the village of Wickford is as quaint and pretty as a classic New England town can get. Crisp air, morning light, autumnal trees in their glory, a perfect place to stroll and window shop. IMO, this season is the best time to visit, after the heat and crowds of the summer, with a... There isnt too much to do in this downtown area but it was nice to walk around and check out the stores. You can walk over to the little harbor and watch the boats sail in and enjoy the breeze or have dinner at one of the restaurants in the area.
