It's always great to travel on the BI ferry! Dogs, people, good stuff. And a snack bar. Works for me!

Boarded the ferry on the morning run and were docked with our bikes within 50 minutes. Our return in the early evening was just as quick. Comfortable padded seats were available as the ferry was not overly crowded.

The Block Island ferry is a great experience for Summer Fun. Family fun for all ages. Please keep your children and pets close to you, it's easy to get distracted. And, be sure to get there early for a good parking place.

This is about an hour ride from Galilee to Block Island. It was smooth sailing and very picturesque. Provide you time for talking and cuddling if you with your Special person.

Nice comfortable ride on the slow boat which is only 50 minutes. It gives you a chance to see dolphins.

There are many lots to select from. I would recommend parking away from any buildings in the parking lot. The sea gulls perch on the buildings and fly to the tops of cars parked close - and leave lots of their waste on... More

The New London ferry is of course closer to you, less driving longer on the water. It is a high speed ferry, passengers only, no cars. You need to make a reservation for that ferry as they do sell out. Parking is not simple... More
