Galilee is indeed a fishing village and insofar as that goes, it's quite interesting. It has a few seafood restaurants, as is to be expected, and four shops (two really just holes in the wall attached to restaurants; one little boutique and The Boat House,...More

If you want to sit and watch the fishing boats this is the place. Have fried clams or ice cream and be happy. Parking at certain times of the year is stressful.

Stop in Galilee before heading off to Block Island. Cute shops and fun restaurants! Nice to have a quick cocktail and bite to eat. Very friendly and reasonably priced.

Went during peak season so it was crowded in a such a small area. However, I was still able to enjoy the sights. Watching the fishing boats going in and out was enjoyable. Delicious fresh food is abundant in the area. There's also a beach.

A quaint fishing village with quite a few places to dine both sitting down and being served and walking up and ordering. Scenic views and some beautiful homes. You can get the Block Island Ferry here.
