Although this isn't the longest of trails, it is enjoyable none the less. A great spot to bring the kids for a quiet walk, or to do laps of the trail around the point. I ran here a couple of times on a recent visit,...More

I happened upon this place to take photos for the state, and it blew me away. I'm from the area, been NEAR this place a million times on the way to Newport, but didn't know Sachuest existed. Honestly, it's one of the state's biggest yet...More

Sachuest Point affords a lovely walk on the side of the ocean and, most of the time, good bird viewing. This is a relatively small facility.

Love this refuge. The coastal views are breathtaking, the birdlife is prolific and there are several trails to enjoy. You can even fish from the rocks if you wish. Great place to get away from it all and commune with nature.

We visited twice in a week, once to walk the trail and again when we discovered the water access areas. Loved hunting for treasure (sea glass). The trails are generally even and provide a great view and opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of...More

Its open, check on visitors center hours, sure it would be rough going with all the snow, trails aren't cleared. But some good viewing if you're up to it. Skis or snow shoes???
