This beach gets crazy in the summer, so go in the off season and enjoy the long stretch of sand. The surf here is not the best, with waves breaking right at the shore. East Matunuck or Narragansett Town beaches are where it's at for...More

The walk from the parking lot to the beach was a little long and sucked with chairs and a cooler, so plan accordingly, but it was a nice beach day for sure

Great beach but can be very hard to get out of the water as has a lot of stones. It is beautiful for walking and we do almost every day. Love it

Would like to visit again when it is not so cold because it seems like it would not be overly crowded even in the summertime.

We never tire of the RI beaches. Charlestown doesn't have some of the amenities of the others but it's beautiful, clean and the other people on the beach are friendly. Its our favorite!
