Incredibly Beautiful !!

We hiked the west rim and the views are stunning! You can hike down the canyon to fish, but it is a rugged trail.

Gives person several outlook points to gaze upon Pa's Grand Canyon. Nature lovers' paradise. Snowmobile the road in the winter.

We enjoyed exploring the Colton Point State Park. We walked through the forest through a designated path. There was quite a lot of moss there! The weather wasn’t the best, but still we enjoyed ourselves. We could see a bit of the river that snaked around this region, even though it was a bit foggy. A road was right next... More

Colton Point sits across the Pine Creek (crick) River gorge from Harrison State Park lookout. However, not as many tourist visit here like the lookout across the river. You can walk along the paths for great views of Pine Creek. There are several pavilions to have a family picnic. A couple have stone fireplaces to build a fire so if... More

This would be a great place to hike when the weather is nice. We stopped by after spending the night at the Penn Wells Lodge. Just wanted to see the beautiful view.

I really think I liked this park better than the famous grand canyon of PA. The drive up was more beautiful and the overlook was just as majestic.

Glad we stopped here after Leonard Harrison visit. Smaller viewing area but in my opinion more impressive views of the gorge. Will definitely be back if in the area.

We have been to the Grand Canyon and PA Grand Canyon is beautiful in a different way. Viewing the water from such a height made me think of the Grand Canyon. We visited in the fall to see the leaves, but understand there is a lot to do in the other seasons.
