From the top of the tower, there is an incredible view of the surrounding area! My dad, who is 79 did the climb with me. We stopped when needed. HE was in awe of the view!

We had a bit of difficulty finding it but were so glad we did. My hubby has bad knees but thankfully the elevator was there and we only had to climb a short amount of steps near the top. Commanding views of the area even...More

This tower has a commanding view of the surrounding area. When you consider what the militia could see from here it had to be helpful. Our visit was on a rainy day so we could not see what they could. We will be returning.

Great view of the area. Elevator takes you almost to the top. Narrow staircase get you to the top of the tower. Small donation is required but worth it for the view out to the Delaware River. Try to catch early fall for the leaves...More

A place you must see when visiting Bucks county. As you drive up the steep winding road to the monument, you crest the hill and before you stands a tall stone structure. You don't realize the height of it until you actually step out of...More

I climbed this tower while visiting a friend in New Hope. Because I love seeing beautiful vistas, the 120+ steps were worth it for me--even though at 73 I can't see very well in low light and had to hold on tight to the metal...More

No one - not the website, the cashier at the visitor center, not even the man taking the ticket at the shack next to the tower - tells you that the elevator is not working! And if you have a toddler, that makes things difficult....More

I'm smacking myself for not going sooner. Past this a million times on the way to New Hope. Came with my kids, the ride up to the tower was kinda of scary but it was nice. Make sure you bring a car that can take...More

The drive to the tower is nice but it is hard to find without a navigation app. The pictures of the tower show everything what to expect. One can climb to the top ($8?) and view the Delaware River valley. We chose not to.

The elavator was not working when Ii visited, so I had to walk 124 steps to get to the top. A good place to visit especially with kids.
