Took my grandchildren on the train. Nice train ride thru the amish country. Kids enjoyed it. Wish it would have been a little longer but very nice. We would do it again.

The railroad gives you the feeling of entering back to the old west days. The staff wears the era appropriate clothing and are very friendly. There are plenty of gift shops and a small restaurant to get a snack. We really enjoyed the open air...More

Took my daughter here today and it was just as good as I remembered when I was her age. The train ride is fun relaxing and you get to see a part of the country that we normally don't ever see. Loved it and would...More

Slow steam ride through the Dutch Country landscape. We chose to go first class, and travelled in the lounge with comfortable individual armchairs. Food is available on board in first class and the dining cab. The locomotives and carriages are kept in excellent condition. Particularly...More

We were so fascinated by this place. You are able to get a combo ticket for the museum and the train ride across the street. We took the 40 min or so train ride and got a nice history of the area and view of...More

Super staff, wonderful period rolling stock- really well-cared for. Try the 1st class lounge car for $20. The steam engines are beautiful. First train is at 11 am.

My family and I stopped here to see the trains and found that there was actually a bit more to do than we thought. There is a cute playground area for children, complete with a wooden train play house that was a hit with my...More

What a fun way to see the countryside. The conductors gave a great commentary during the ride and we learned a lot about the area and it's history with the railroad. We sat in an open air car on a gorgeous day, so I'm biased...More

I have been there many times from the 1970's until today in 2017. I know it's hard to believe but they continue to make it a better stop. I took a friend that has never seen it and he was quite surprised.

I am not 100% positive, but I believe they run pretty much year round. Overall, this isn't a horrible place. However, I wasn't as impressed with them as I had hoped. I drove four hours from the PA/OH border to get there... More

It should be a good train ride for fall foliage. It's an excellent train ride to see farmlands in the fall, corn stalks, etc. It's a fantastic experience regardless of the foliage, one I highly recommend. :)
