In addition there are wonderful periodic displays in the gallery. It is amazing that a facility of... More

My daughter's artwork made it into a juried show at GoggleWorks. The show was lovely as were so many of the artists who rent studios in the building and came in for the opening reception. They are working on the space to make it even more conducive to visiting and perhaps grabbing a bite to eat. Cant wait to see... More

Some works of art here are unbelievable. Instead of work by high school students, they look like works of art by professional artists.

This is a wonderful downtown experience. for those visiting the area be sure to stop in and view the artists at work (more available on the weekends), visit the changing displays, and purchase some unique gifts. Small cafe with very reasonable prices. If you live in the area take in one of the art cinema movies or consider holding a... More

They offer so much from art classes to movies that you will always find something of interest here. Every year they host the Reading School District's show of student artwork.

We had a tour of the facility, watched Reading High students work on pottery and metal jewelry and glass blowing, spoke with a couple of artists working in their studios, visit the history museum on the 3rd floor and the Genealogical Society on the 4th floor. So many opportunities to explore and experience the arts here in Reading. They have... More

"Founded by Gile J. Willson and his son Dr. Thomas A. Willson in 1871, Thomas A. Willson & Co. opened the first factory in the world to manufacture optical glass for lenses and reading glasses." Experiencing that in itself is worth the visit while walking the old building. Lots to do and lots to see, plenty of parking, just a... More

This old factory houses all kinds of artists as well as local organizations (like the Reading/Berks Conference of Churches) and has great spaces for parties and concerts. Lots of free parking too - and it is right near an IMax and a really good restaurant.
