I was looking forward to this. In truth, I wasn’t able to enjoy any of it because they didn’t permit me to enter. Their CC machines broke down while I was standing in line so I couldn’t buy a ticket with plastic and with my cash in pocket I was $1 short and they refused to allow me to enter. No ATM. They had no compassion, no assurance they’re systems would resume work, and no one was willing to spare $1. The staff was awful and all I wanted was to have a good time at a place I’d never seen before. I left angry and humiliated by rude employees. I will never return. They have a lot to learn about customer satisfaction and compassion. They should be ashamed.

It was a really nice place to visit especially if you are interested in aviation. Richard, our tour guide was knowledgeable and explained the history of each plane. It was also interesting to learn about different engine structures used for different plane types. In June Museum holds World War II reenactment and plane showcase which sounds like an interesting time.

Visited today....Ken was our guide. It was a great tour, first inside looking at some plane memorabilia, which Ken had a great knowledge of. Next outside learning about the planes and a few copters they had. Then inside the hanger where the bulk of the collection is....it really spans history by type and use...mainly ww2. Again Ken had a great amount of knowledge about the planes, displays, and history. Tour was about 2 hours. Great time. Definitely recommend.

The awesome array of aircraft - with impeccable standards of restoration - was made all the more engaging and accessible through the detailed stories of our super knowledgeable guide.

A very special place in very beautiful surroundings. If you have any interest at all in aviation, do yourself a favor and go.

The entire staff was very pleasant and the cat was very funny!

We took our two younger grandsons for what turned into a terrific adventure.
And the weather was perfect.
I have always loved learning about aviation and history. But was unsure how the boys would be . Well we had a personal tour guide. Carl was so patient and knowledgeable and the 10 year old in particular loved our time there. Now the 6 year old was curious and had a million questions and Mr Carl was great with him too.
Will need to go back soon to take it all in ( without them lol ).
Oh and the cat.
Whatever the cat says don’t let him out!!

This is one of the finest WW2 shows on the east coast. Penty of re-enactors, vintage aircraft, WW2 veterans, big band music. If you close your eyes and let your imagination work, you'll be back in 1943. All shows are the first weekend in June. Excellent day out.

We were looking for a place to go on a short day trip in PA. We aren't aircraft enthusiasts, but we have a 13 year old so this fit the bill. What a wonderful air museum! First off, this is the only aircraft museum I've been to where a lot of the planes are in flying condition and are flown. Two of the planes were leaving the next day for an airshow in Michigan. Many of the planes that aren't currently being flown are still capable with a going through and some maintenance, which is awesome.

The museum has a fair number of unique aircraft, including the only two engined custer channel wing (think piston engined harrier, sorta) ever made. Our guide was informative and answered almost every question we could throw at him. We stayed past closing time, to give you an idea of how much we enjoyed ourselves. I added next year's world war 2 day to my calendar on the spot and can't wait to come.

If you are even looking at this review you should visit this museum. Anyone with any interest in aircraft will enjoy themselves.

I was there as part of the annual WW2 Weekend. Interesting old planes. They have reading material to look at, as well.

I took my 15 yr old and 10 yr old to the museum on a quiet week day. We had the most wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide! He had like 5 stories about every plane, all as interesting as the last! My kids already have an interest in aviation, so they were in heaven seeing all the restorations! It was inspiring to see how a group of people can share their interest in flight and history with the community. We will be coming back for sure!

There may not be much for real little kids to do unless they are fascinated with planes. But for older kids and adults, it's perfect!
