I visited today for the first time with my two sons - ages 5 and 7 - on a weekday afternoon/evening (2-6 pm) during winter holiday break from school.

Legoland was the perfect level of busy at this time - a good number of people but it never felt crowded, nor did we wait in any lines. We had a great time. The staff was fabulous - friendly and attentive - and the venue was fun and offered so much to do. We could have stayed longer.

I do want to note that I read the reviews before going and therefore, we ate at the Chick-fil-A in the mall before entering Legoland. Chick-fil-A was very busy, and the longest wait of our day. We later bought coffee and ice cream at the Lego cafe (zero wait) and noticed that while the food selection is limited, the prices were very reasonable (something like $7 for a large salad or a burger, $1 for a string cheese, $1 for an apple sauce. I think my Starbucks latte was around $5 and the ice creams were around $3.) I wouldn’t hesitate to just eat there next time.

That said, we didn’t buy any of the other upsells (VR, mini fig, pics, etc.) and didn’t care. Maybe we will upgrade next time just to check them out. But they def weren’t necessary.

We saw all 3 of the “4D” movies and they’re each very different so try to see more than one!

Agreed with other reviewers that the train ride to get in is very fun - almost like the chocolate factory ride at Hershey? But with wands and a video game element.

One attraction we didn’t see mentioned on the website (but were delighted to find) was a stop motion studio/station. My older son makes Lego stop motion at home so this made us all quite happy.

All in all, we had a great trip and hope to return this summer.

Subpar birthday event place
Rude staff....
Lack of commitment to perform services
Terrible policy for parent attendance and drop off and pick up!

Our two girls, aged 8 and 6 were thoroughly engaged. We entered at 2:30pm and they were reluctant to leave at closing time, 5 pm. Highly recommended for pre-school + age kids especially if they are already familiar with Lego products. Those who are able visit frequently can benefit from the "season pass" deal.

We traveled a few hours to visit with my 12yo son who loves Legos. This place is not for 12yo's. They need to modify the age recommendation to more like up to 8yo. We paid $54 entry and spent less than 30 minutes inside. There was nothing in his age range to do. Sitting at a building station can be done at home. I was very surprised there was no Marvel area. The layout of Philadelphia was cool but as tourists we couldn't relate. I do not recommend for 12yo's.

We went with two kids and found this location to be most focused on providing building stations where kids can free choice build onto existing Lego theme worlds. We were expecting more experiences like rides or games but this location offers only one short ride, a train, and a short, somewhat confusing Ninjago laser game. Free play areas like pirate ship were a hit, but overall this location is about providing kids access to Lego building opportunities. Other experiences like Lego craft studio and Lego Dotz creations were closed on our weekday visit. Our kids loved the building stations, but given the somewhat steep cost of a ticket, I didn't feel there was much value. Good if you have an hour or two that you want to while away sitting and watching your kids build legos.
Attached Lego store offers a relatively small assortment of sets at inflated prices, but fun to look around.

We watched all four 4D movies. They were great for kids and adults. Our 8 year old grandson enjoyed building a Lego rabbit with an instructor. He also had fun finding the stamps to complete the activity packet.

We took our grandkids that are a girl and boy - 5 and 7. They loved it. So much to do. My grandson sat for almost an hour putting a car together to race. I and my grand daughter enjoyed the “girl land” as well as the room with all the Philly landscapes. Wonderful and so intricate. We all enjoyed the 4D movie and the ride! Boys liked the laser tag and the play ground. Definitely a hands on day to get creative juices flowing. Highly recommend!!
