It is always fun to be able to walk down the center of the Roberto Clemente Bridge on the way to a Pirates' game. The many activities add to the game day excitement, and the views are great.

One of 3 over the Allegheny, it's painted yellow, like the others. You drive over it, or cruise by boat underneath. Namesake is to be honored. Nuff said about a bridge?

I find it difficult to find the right descriptors for the bridge, but decided upon Fun. Fun to photograph, fun to walk across, fun crossing of steel (apropos) to Pittsburgh, fun local color, fun avenue to Heinz Field. So much fun that I lingered.

Great way to go to PNC park or Heinz Field. Lots of local color and entertainment on the bridge and great views of the city and rivers .

This bridge is a beautiful structure. A nice tribute to a good ball player, and better human being. This also good representation of the Steel City.

The walk across the Clemente Bridge to PNC Park is a treat. This bridge is one of the identical three bridges across the Allegheny River.

This bridge was fun to cross to get to the Pirates Game. The views from the bridge are amazing. The bridge has locks on it from people all over the world. It is a piece of history and worth the walk over it.

Make sure you stroll across the 6th St Bridge when it closes for Pirates games at PNC park. Nice view of the city.

I have no idea what this thing is, but like everyone in Pittsburgh, I love Roberto Clemente!! I think they've also named a bridge, in Homestead, after the great Josh Gibson. Perfect!

Pittsburgh area residents mourned the loss of Pirates great Roberto Clemente. It was nice to see a bridge in Pittsburgh is named in his honor. The weather was beautiful in Pittsburgh when I visited so I decided to walk along the rivers and enjoy the...More

You can walk across the bridge in twenty or less minutes. As far as parking, to my knowledge street parking is your best bet. I would park on the PNC Park side, as there is more parking available than on the other side.

Yes, this is the bridge on 6th street down from Heinz Hall. There is a garage on 6th closer to the bridge.
