The Pitt campus overall is just fine-- kind of a tight urban campus with some interesting buildings. But the Cathedral of Learning is a must-see! It contains the Nationality Rooms, several dozen classrooms furnished and decorated authentically by the ethnic groups that made Pittsburgh the...More

We stumbled upon this campus. It is very beautiful. The buildings and campus are clean. We would love to be able to spend more time there on our next trip.

Pitt seems to have it all. Old and new buildings blend well together. Beautiful lawns and upscale dining and shops.

Located close to the Carnegie Museums and University, this historic (barely younger than our nation) university has several beautiful buildings in it's campus. A must see when in the city.

Where is a good place to stay near campus but would give us a good idea about Pittsburgh as a whole? We are going for a campus visit with our family of 5 and I am wondering where we should stay (downtown, north shore, south works, bakery square)? Thank you.
