Did a quick drop in- on the Pitt campus. Beautiful educational skyscraper with art deco hints. The first floor study area looks like Hogwarts. Wished to be a student again. Go to the top for city view, but be careful to avoid the rude Honors College receptionist.

The nationality classrooms on ground and 3rd floors are the main draw here, although the building itself is a thing of beauty as well (Harry Potter fans, look down to the main lobby area from third floor railing, could you see Hogwarts?). It is fun...More

The architecture is astounding. We only had time to tour the third floor. Each room was beautiful and informative.

Such a wonderful gem in architecture. Gothic style is like walking back in time. Truly worth the visit if you have a few hours to spend.

The entire University of Pittsburgh is in eastern suburbs, and it's a huge area. It's tower is its own, and also Pitts' landmark. The interior reminded my son on Harry Potter's movies. It's all in Gothic style with stone floor and high stone arches. It...More

I have seen some unique learning facilities but this one will always remain embedded in my memory. It's nothing like I've seen before. Try to get as high as possible for an awesome view. It's pretty exciting. Remember that there will be eduroam, cafeterias, and...More

The Cathedral is only open until 4 PM because it is used for classrooms. Never dinners. Weekends the vending machines are available but the food court is not open for hot meals.
