Combine a short stop at this very impessive building with visits to Carnegie-Mellon Museum and a walk through the attractive University neighborhoods. Original administrative office and classrooms of the University of Pittsburgh. There are always interesting exhibits.

Wow the lower level of the building is amazing, everything you want and more. The next few floors are just as amazing with different classrooms themed after different areas of the world as well as views of the stunning lower level. The top floors offers...More

The building itself is worth the visit, but the Beautiful Nationality Rooms are not to be missed. Each unique to their country of origin. So many to see you may need to decide which are your priorities before you run out of time. A few...More

This place is worth a visit. I agree with the multiple reviews that refer to the cathedral-like study space as "much like a visit to Hogwarts" or to an English university. The Nationality classrooms are such an interesting and unique concept as well. The classrooms...More

This is where I spent four years of college so this has very special memories for me. Architecturally beautiful, inside and out. A must see while in Oakland.

We paid $4 a person for self guided tour of the nationality rooms. It came with a key to each room and a pre-recorded device that gave the history of each room. On top of that, they had signs on the walls. It was really...More

Most of the ones we saw looked accessible. There are elevators that provide access to all the floors.
