A couple of the exhibits were pretty cool. Mostly it was the kind of art that art students who's parents have too much money make.

Enjoyed the art but be forewarned that one of their three buildings requires you to choose a time slot so they can keep the number of people in the exhibit small enough to maximize the experience. We did not understand that and when we went back to get our slot time would have had to wait two hours to see... More

Great place, a little outside of downtown but a great place to go for the morning or afternoon. Some of the attractions require time tickets, so call before if you plan on wanting to see it while you're there

This museum was our favorite part about our trip to Pittsburgh. It was 5 floors of exhibits plus two other buildings to walk thru. As soon as you enter the doors you are already walking thru a light exhibit which is very cool. This museum is a diff kind of art and it's very intriguing. They are all room sized... More

Visited for first time with teen/preteen kids. I'm not a huge fan of modern art but we all had a good time exploring the unique buildings. Visited the main building in about an hour but did not have time for two other buildings. Looking forward to retuning soon.

I know that I am getting old when I can't appreciate modern art, but rooms with light shapes are not opinion of art. Just one opinion others may love it.

This is a true gem in the city and I highly recommend a visit if you enjoy installation art. There are four floors in the main building with two or three visual installations on each which we visited, but we ran out of time to do the other buildings which are included in museum admission. A bit pricey at $20... More

There are couple of art illusions but not so great. Many things are not explained clearly and you just wonder why it is there.

Great buildings, and large installations, just feels full very quickly as it doesn't really work with other visitors nearby in the room. Just one very slow elevator. Don't forget to check out the second building around the corner.
