We had a great time with our toddler grandson! We explored seven, climate-specific "rooms" that featured exotic birds both up close and from a comfortable distance. We watched and participated in a handful of feedings that thrilled him. Took in a live "inflight" exhibition that included a dozen or so birds, from tiny burrowing owls, to falcons, eagles, and macaws.... More

Lots of birds of all types. Well organized and with a strong educational focus. The demonstrations are worth your time.

If you are a bird lover, you must visit the National Aviary! There are rooms and rooms of beautiful birds to watch. The Aviary has done a good job reconstructing the natural habitats for the birds and there are even benches so you can sit and just enjoy watching them fly around and sing. Enjoyable for all ages!

It is a small place, but it has very beautiful birds. The price for the interactions is high but the admission fees are reasonable.

Sweet place to go face-to-face with hundreds of beautiful and interesting birds including penguins. We take family and guests regularly. Our grandchildren love it too - especially the f2f encounters. Small cafe available. Educational programs available. Have never had a problem parking.

If you have any interest in birds, they have a lot of varieties including a display on canaries, penguins, tropical birds. There's a room you walk through that has a bunch of small birds flying around-all kinds of interesting little birds.

Amazing experience! Good for a part of a day. Not a whole day experience, by any means, but plan 2-3 hours. Take advantage of an opportunity to feed some of the birds! Well worth the extra money to get up close and personal with some of the birds there! Best part of the day was having lorikeets hop on my... More
