We took the incline for great views of the city and a lovely walk through the neighborhood. Next time we'll come after dark as we were told it's even more beautiful then.

We live here and have people visit all the time. They are always amazed. Don't miss Mount Washington on any visit and be sure to ask us locals for food and drink spots on the mount. Don't just settle for and ice cream cone.

This is absolutely the best place to view Pittsburgh. The sunset view there is amazing. The best way to visit is via one of the two inclines. The incline itself is inexpensive and an experience to remember. --The Monogahela incline is conveniently located adjacent to...More

Beautiful view with several overlooks to see downtown Pittsburgh & then some - can see all the way up the Allegheny River to the 62nd Bridge. Gorgeous at night! Really special on a sunny day.

It is always worth a ride/drive to the top of Mount Washington. So many great views. Pittsburgh is the only major city that has a front door (Ft. Pitt Tunnels) and an observation deck (Mount Washington). Get to the top, it never disappoints.

Pittsburgh is definitely more picturesque than how it appeared during its industrial heyday, and it's apparent from the views from Mt Washington on a clear, sunny day. We took the Duquesne Incline to get up here, but you can also walk or drive. You can...More

Hello. The best place to get a cab is at any of the hotels in downtown Pittsburgh; even the hotels on the North Shore should be able to call you a cab pretty quickly. The area around the convention center, which is also... More
