    Scenic view of Pittsburgh City
Visited Mount Washington spot, this is an are on the hill from where you can get a scenic view of Pittsburgh downtown. This is a place you should not miss visit when you are in Pittsburgh. It's a road side open area where you can stand and watch the view of the city, there is no entrance or any type of fee to visit there.

    Nice area, with famous views!
Took the Dusquene incline up to enjoy the fabulous views from here. Once on top, we were not disappointed. And, as everyone else comments, the views are stunning! We strolled the neighborhood briefly and hopped into a restaurant across fross the incline to enjoy a meal. Lazy late afternoon, the area was quaint and very nice. Later we experienced driving the narrow and hilly streets of the area, and can't imagine how the locals manage. Tough job on that one!

    Great views of the city
We went up the Mongahela incline and walked the overview sidewalk between the two inclines. Had lunch up here as well. A nice day, just great views of the city. I am so glad we did this. Two teenage boys seemed to appreciate the experience.

Headed up to Mount Washington early one morning on the way to breakfast to get a overlooking view of the city and take some pictures. Had to see the perspective and the Church that lights up the evening after dark. And all the bridges!

Parked and walked around the neighborhood. Enjoyable morning and view.

Love the Shiloh Grill’s macaroni dishes but enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch that featured many dishes and a mimosa for very reasonable price. this time. After brunch walked the few blocks to enjoy the view of Pittsburgh from Mt. Washington.

We rode the Duquesne incline up to Mt. Washington and walked the mile down to the Monongahela incline. Mt. Washington is truly a beautiful part of the city, we enjoyed walking down the street, checking out the unique and stunning houses. Mount Washington is a must when visiting Pittsburgh, with stunning views and good food.

Mt Washington is always a great experience. Parking was easy and free on a Sunday evening and the views are always great. You can see everything from Heinz Field all the way to Cathy and it's a chill area!

I had read that the view at Mt Washington was among the better ones in the country, according to USA Today. I didn't really believe that until I got here. There are public incline rail cars you can take for a higher view of downtown Pittsburgh and the rivers and hills.
Many people were there, but it wasn't overly crowded on a Saturday evening right before sunset. One couple got engaged there on a platform.

Wife and I were visiting for the weekend and going up on the hill was a must on our short list.. The incline train had too long of a line, plus I want the freedom to view multiple locations and explore.. I recommend just driving to the top and parking.. no issues..

I have been to Mt. Washington 3 times at night for the view. I have never felt uncomfortable. Until this time. We could smell people smoking pot and 1 driver with bottle in her hand. Only a handful of people were wearing masks on the street. I would not take out-of-town friends or family members here again until this pandemic is over.

We walked from downtown, across the bridge, and took the lift up the hill. Up top are a great walking promenade and lots of bar/grill spots to eat, including a terribly popular ice cream place. Saw kids taking prom photos, street dancers, and lots of folks walking, talking, and generally having a good time.

Even on a stormy day it is a great view. Heading up either of the inclines or by car gives you a chance to see the city below. After taking in the view there a some great places to grab a drink or a meal and soak I. The city even more
