Not only do you to watch the great game of baseball in a great baseball city but you get to do it in maybe the best place to watch a baseball game in the country. My wife and I are Yankee fans so we like to combine watching them play with a little sightseeing and we were both blown away by PNC. Plenty of food options but the best may be Manny's along the centerfield concourse. I think it's one of the top 3 food options in all of baseball and you may get lucky enough to mee the man himself, Manny Sanguillen. Seats along the 3rd base line have one of the best views in baseball. The Pittsburgh skyline is very pretty in the day or night. If you're in town and you're a baseball fan give PNC a visit.

Most of the tours are guided here but we arrived between the official tours and were able to do some exploration ourselves. It is a beautiful venue with good visibility from every direction and angle. It is a very friendly gesture that they allow visitors ! While in Pittsburgh we stayed in Residence Inn next door with excellent view of the PNC Park.

The view alone makes this Park a sight to see. Fixated on the river, there are plenty of places near by to grab a bite or a beer before the game. Inside the stadium, you will find great food options that fit into the Pittsburgh culture. A must see Park.

Just look at this view. Seriously. Look at it. The steel city rising in the background. Bridges for days. Blue skies. Black and gold on the field. It’s everything a yinzer could ask for. Well, almost. A competitive team would be nice, as would a bullpen that doesn’t blow leads but hey, you’re stuck with what you can get when the team owner is a cheapskate. This is all to say it’s the best stadium in baseball and should not be missed!

A sports road trip included a Pirates game at PNC Park. This is a Great park to watch a baseball game AND get Great Food! Professional baseball, great site lines, easy to get in and out. Moderate walking distance from across the river. We walked so I have no idea about parking around the park. The food is the bonus. SO many choices and ALL well done. Planning a sports trip? This is ballpark number six on my journey to 30. Location is great as it’s next to the river which I’m not gonna try to spell. There is plenty of food options. I loved that they have chicken wings. So far, this ballpark has had the best food. Also had a Pittsburgh Philly steak sandwich and some crab frys. Fans are vocal but nice. Game was against the Twins whom I saw about a month ago. Pirates won! I recommend coming at least once.

We went to two games, one had "cheap seats" and one had more expensive seats. I think the view from the cheap seats was the best. Funny thing is we didn't notice any concession sellers in the stands, not like other stadiums. No one selling hot dogs, ice cream or cotton candy. Another thing is in the cheap seats there were no cup holders. Other than that, even if you were to bring someone who wasn't into baseball the view of Pittsburgh alone is worth it.

I am not going to compare this stadium to Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, or Dodgers Stadium. Those are old-school cathedrals and stand on their own. That said, PNC is the best of the modern ones. A beautiful location with a stunning view of the rivers, roomy concourses, and a friendly staff. We enjoyed our trip there this summer. The selection of food was pretty good, with local favorites, but be prepared to wait (we waited 30 minutes for a local sub.

This stadium is very clean! It was a busy game, but things are well organized so there was no waiting for long periods of time for restrooms or food vendors. The people helping find seats were extremely kind. They wiped off your set for you as a courtesy. Game was fun and had lots of interactive events.

Great 1 hour tour of park. Learned alot about the history of the park and the Pittsburgh pirates. Was able to stay in the park after the tour rather than leaving and having to line up to re-enter. However, concession stands were not open until game time. But did manage to get 2 baseballs from batting practice - which our 5 year old grandson was thrilled about. PNC park is our favourite ball park with great seating and fans
