This is a busy urban market with such diverse offerings: a gigantic seafood market (Wholey's), several super-well stocked Italian grocery stores, Asian fare, bakeries, housewares, coffee shops, souvenirs, restaurants and bars - so much to see and EAT. We stop every time we are in Pittsburgh and find something new and delectable each time.

Looking to see Pittsburgh and the Strip District was highly rated. Nice array of ethnic dishes, farmer's market produce, etc. A lot of places to buy Steelers, Pirates and Penguins t-shirts. Not a place I'd visit real often to stroll.

Many small stands that sell almost anything, You can get a Coffee or a snack. This would be a good place to visit on a rainy day..

Great part of Pittsburgh to see, shop, and eat. Clothing in particular seemed to be priced very well. My wife and I got here early and walked around before many shops were open, area seemed very safe and secure.

Anything you want, and if you are Steelers fan hold on to you hat. There are so many places to eat so make sure you take time to look at them all before you decide. Also check out all the thing around the area.

We went here during the day on a Sunday Night Football day, so there were lots of vendors selling clothes and Steeler's gear. We got some great deals and also had a really cheap lunch at a Chinese vendor (didn't have a name), which had really tasty fried rice, egg rolls and pad Thai for $8 total. It was just... More

I love a good public market! We didn't buy anything because we're not local, but it was nice to walk through. I wasn't expecting a public market in Pittsburgh!

We went to the Public Market for the first time last month. Neat indoor part of the strip with several different merchants and food vendors (bakery too). The East End Brewing Co has a spot there as well, which is awesome. All merchants are really welcoming. May I suggest Billu's Indian Grill (amazing food).
