If you want to take a few hours and just relax with a nice stroll through the gardens this is the place. Beautiful colors and fragrance fill the place. A lovely bistro to grab lunch before or after your visit.

Phipps Conservatory has been a part of the Pittsburgh landscape for decades, and is one of the most spectacular conservatories in the nation. If you are fortunate enough to be visiting Pittsburgh during the Spring Flower Exhibit - GO!

My daughter is having her wedding at Phipps in August 2019. We are so excited. The venue is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We recently had our meal tasting and the food was just delicious. The staff seems very organized and...More

The Phipps Botanical Gardens and Conservatory is a regional gem that's terrific for the whole family. Our aging grandparents love the languid atmosphere and easy stroll through pretty orchids and Chihuly sculptures; our kids call Phipps the "plant zoo" and are engrossed by its butterfly...More

Our family visits Pittsburgh every February, just to get to the Phipps Conservatory. We do other things, too, but Phipps is the main goal. There's no place that is better for chasing away the winter blues, particularly in February when they do their orchid show....More

I’ve grown up in Pittsburgh and I love visiting Phipps. For each season the display changes. So, no matter what season you go in, there is always something beautiful to look at. Very relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

Phipps has a wide array of plants with a well thought out display. I loved the desert room, such amazing cacti and succulents. They had a bonsai display but most of the trees were the same variety.

Phipps Christmas light display is gorgeous. The cafe is great for a quick bite before we stroll through the lights. The gift shop is wonderful for a unique gift for someone during the holidays! We have been going for years now.
