This is in the middle of Pitt's campus and is a great place to see and learn about various nationalities. We have taken many people there over the years and everyone loves it. The architecture is beautiful too.

We were running out of diversions during our week with the grandkids during their school break. At 16 & 12, a girl & a boy, would they be interested in seeing the Nationality Rooms since they are Canadian residents? We had done theater, sports, laser...More

Reserve 1-2 hours for this, there is a lot of stuff to see. We went in July and about 1/3 of rooms were closed, though.

There are different ways to experience the nationality classrooms, which I had first visited many years ago. I chose the free self-tour, going in and out of the first-floor rooms( not all were open) then seeing more on the third floor which I hadn't seen...More

We really enjoyed the audio tour. The international rooms are very interesting as is the audio explanation of them. The interior and exterior architecture of the building itself is spectacular.

We love different cultures so this was interesting to see. Being a student in one of those classrooms would be awesome.

Hats off to who ever came up with this idea! What a gem. Simply marvelous. About 25 class rooms have been done up in the style and décor of those 25 countries with a beautiful commentary to accompany the visit. However it was disappointing that...More

Beautiful building; outdated yet funny and well done décor in the rooms, revealing of what respectful human universalism looked like at some epoch or another. All in all though, what a powerful statement to erect a sanctum and a tower such as this to higher...More

Yes, and use the entrance off of 5th Avenue to avoid steps. Elevators are available to use. I had a professor who used a wheelchair to teach and we used different class rooms in the building. There is public parking off... More

Free. Stop in gift shop for an outline or map of the rooms. Helpful guide. We went when classes weren't in session, early May.
