We stayed in one of the modern cabins for the weekend. It has a bunk room for 4 and a Master Bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom with shower. The park is beautiful and well kept.

Always a great place to camp, but late and early seasons are best! Wildlife abounds. Plenty of well marked trails to explore.

Summer and fall hiking is beautiful. I recommend the Moss-Hanna and Bog Trails. In the Winter all types of terrain are available for cross country. The trails are broken in making it easier to ski. If you're looking for something easier, you can just ski on the lake once it freezes.

We stopped for a visit at the S.B. Elliot State Park ranger station just off of I-80 exit 111. Just inside the ranger station they have a plethora of information pamphlets on the local outdoors. Many maps for hiking trails, camping, and even snowmobile trails.

I've been here many times. Used to live in the area so I know 'Mo.' Winding roads, off roads, natural spring, creeks & wild life. Swimming, row boats, hunting camps. Picnicking, activities. Great place for outdoor fun.

The campground is a perfect combination of old with the new. Beautiful bath facilities and sites with just electric or sites with water, electric and sewerage. Only site we didn't like was ours-site 9. It was too close to the other site and we had to look at the neighbor's motor home instead of the view. The park features a bog... More
