Great mountain for beginner skier.

Closest slopes to Philadelphia. Easy 90 minute to 2 hour drive. Really nice bar addition on the ground level. Great food and atmosphere. For beginner skiers like myself, nicely... read more

Closest slopes to Philadelphia. Easy 90 minute to 2 hour drive. Really nice bar addition on the ground level. Great food and atmosphere. For beginner skiers like myself, nicely groomed, wide paths to navigate.

I was pleasantly surprised by the long runs at Blue Mountain. We used to ski in the Rockies, and out West you can spend hours on the mountain before you hit the bottom of the trails, depending upon how fast you ski. Most ski resorts in PA are the opposite...you ski for five seconds and BAM you are back on... More

looks like they recently made over the main lodge. much more space and easier to get set up for the day. We had a great ski weekend here - the snow tubing is great - staff is always nice and very alert to needs - like slowing the lifts if needed - the training program was great for my kids... More

Cold weather did not keep us away! Some icy trails, but impossible to avoid with these temps. Overall experience was great. Well groomed, especially when you take into account there is night skiing as well. And when you're taking a break from the trails- the lodge and bathroom facilities are super clean. Noticed housekeeping always wiping down tables and in... More

This is a great activity for the whole family. I brought my seven year old and a neighbors five year old ...and each one had a blast. The lines are moderate, the cost is reasonable for three or four hours, the lanes fir the snow tubes are fast and fun, the the staff is helpful. I would highly recommend a... More

Blue Mountain is the best in snow making, grooming, and updating to the latest state of the art ski lifts and lodges. Nothing in PA compares to it.

I went to Blue Mountain 4 days ago for a birthday party. It was 7 kids including me and we had an awesome time! We went snow tubing. The hills were so fun and the family tubes were awesome! We had a big race between 2 family tubes with the girls in one tube and the boys in the other.... More

There is no better MOUNTAIN in PA. The runs are long and varied. There is very good terrain and lots of good ungroomed/mogul runs. As a mountain, it's way better than its major competitor. However, it also tends to be icier, and the lines are usually longer. The big problem is price. Night prices don't start until 4 (compared to 3... More

My family, ages 7-69 and all competent skiers recently had a poor experience at Blue Mountain that they attributed to the management's lack of concern for their guests. As others have stated, it was crowded and skiers were often out of control, which led to close calls and unnecessary falls. The lodge was also crowded and people were allowed to... More
